MHT CET CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment 2025 Released: Login, Reporting & Next Steps

The Maharashtra State CET Cell has declared the MHT CET CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2025 on July 31, 2025, for both PCM and PCB candidates. Applicants can now log in at fe2025.mahacet.org using their application number and password to check their seat allotment status.

Candidates who are allotted a seat in this round must accept the seat, pay the seat acceptance fee, and report physically to the allotted institute between August 1 and 3, 2025, to confirm their admission.

Where to Check MHT CET Round 1 Seat Allotment 2025?

To access the seat allotment result:

  1. Visit fe2025.mahacet.org
  2. Click on “CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment Result”
  3. Enter your application number and password/date of birth
  4. Download the provisional allotment letter (PDF)

Candidates are advised to take a printout of the allotment letter, as it is required during reporting and admission confirmation.

Seat Acceptance Options: Freeze, Float, Slide

Candidates can choose from the following seat acceptance options:

  • Freeze – Accept the allotted seat and exit the CAP process
  • Float – Accept the seat while being open to better options in the next round
  • Slide – Accept the institute, but look for a preferred course within it

If a candidate is allotted their first preference, the seat is automatically frozen, and they are no longer eligible for future CAP rounds.

A total of four rounds of counselling and seat allotment are planned under MHT CET CAP 2025.

What If You Miss the Deadline?

Candidates who do not accept the allotted seat or report to the institute by August 3 (by 3 PM) will forfeit their seat. They will also lose eligibility to participate in further rounds unless they re-register (if permitted).

Documents Required During Reporting

At the time of admission, candidates must bring the following:

  • MHT CET Seat Allotment Letter
  • CET or JEE Main Scorecard
  • Class 10 and 12 Mark Sheets
  • Domicile Certificate (for Maharashtra candidates)

Can You Participate in Round 2 After Accepting a Seat in Round 1?

Yes, but only if you selected “Float” or “Slide” during seat acceptance. Candidates who chose “Freeze” are not eligible for subsequent rounds.

What If You’re Not Allotted a Seat in Round 1?

Candidates who did not receive a seat can participate in CAP Round 2. The vacancy list will be released on August 4, and choice filling will be open from August 5 to 7.
